Overview

Welcome to the Network Essentials Training Module 2! This module introduces two key networking concepts and protocols critical for maintaining a resilient, efficient, and secure network infrastructure. By the end of this module, you will have a solid understanding of the following topics:

  • Virtual Router Redundancy Protocol (VRRP): Understand how VRRP provides high availability by automatically assigning responsibility for a virtual router.
  • Forward Error Correction (FEC): Learn how FEC techniques detect and correct errors in data transmission without the need for retransmission.
